As a successful songwriter Barb's song “Looking for Mr. Right” charted 53rd in the nation on the New Music Weekly Country Charts. She along with co-writers Kevin Wysong and Jeff Wanex have been penning several new country tunes including “Saving Grace” and “Going (It’s All Good)”. Barb and Kevin have also been featured in "The Race To The Radio" virtual magazine for their song "Up Off My Knees". Barb has worked in the studio on everything from jingles/radio commercials, to full blown album productions. She has also been a vocal/performance coach for numerous award winning performers. She recently completed back-up vocals for artist Jason Daniels on his 'Dashboard Vision & Rearview Reflections' album and 'Thought I'd Be Home By Now', by singer/songwriter Rick Tiger. She has performed in numerous locations across the United States. She has appeared regularly at Rippy's Smokin' Bar & Grill, The Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar, The Wheel, The National Underground, Cowboy Kewl and as a guest at The Second Fiddle, Ledgend's Corner, and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. At the Red, White and Boom celebration in Columbus, Ohio she performed to a city-wide crowd. One of her favorite performances was for the Jordanaires during their 50th Anniversary party. She has opened for such artists as: Tanya Tucker, Steve Wairner and Loretta Lynn. She has also performed at the American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio. While performing Barb gets requests for classics such as Patsy Cline's "Sweet Dreams" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon". As an accomplished entertainer Barb has been awarded several titles for her performances. She has been the North American Country Music Assoc. Female Entertainer and Vocalist of the Year in Traditional Country, New Country, Bluegrass and Traditional Gospel. She was also a winner of the Loretta Lynn Talent Search, and the Colgate Country Showdown regionals.
